Welcome to Episode 1 of the 2026 KOA Unplugged season.
This year, I’m working with the theme of surrender and acceptance.
In this opening episode, I’m joined by the wonderful Giada Gaslini, the face of The School of Shamanism and Art & Spirituality Centre in Edinburgh. Together, we explore how acceptance and surrender are understood through a shamanic and somatic lens—why these states can be so deeply challenging, where resistance shows up in the body, and how we can gently navigate our way toward deeper acceptance in everyday life.

Thank you to all my followers and listeners for your continued support, encouragement, and presence throughout this journey. It means more than I can say to know that so many of you choose to spend your time with my podcast, engage with the conversations, and grow alongside the ideas we explore together. I’m genuinely grateful for every message, every listen, and every moment of connection we’ve shared.
As this chapter comes to a close, I’m already looking ahead with excitement. My podcast, KOA Unplugged, will return in 2026 with a brand-new series centred on the themes of surrender and acceptance - two qualities that feel increasingly important in a world that’s always shifting. My hope is that the next season provides space for reflection, calm, and clarity, and perhaps helps you find a little more ease in your own life.
Please do revisit any episodes or share them with someone who might enjoy them.
Thank you, truly, for being part of this community. I can’t wait to return with you in 2026.
Warmest Wishes,
Cori

Nervous System Regulation Insights through a trauma informed lens with Cori Wilkie, Founder of KOA.
Welcome to KOA Unplugged. I’m Cori Wilkie, founder of KOA, and I’m…
In each episode, I speak with professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds, hearing their stories, learning about their work, and exploring how they have found greater balance and regulation within their own nervous systems.
I’m curious about the different ways we understand and work with the nervous system, and what we can learn from approaches that may be different from our own. Through these conversations, I invite you to discover new perspectives, challenge familiar ideas and consider what regulation might look and feel like for you.
Every episode is grounded in a trauma-informed approach and is an invitation to stay curious, explore different ways of thinking, and deepen our understanding of ourselves, our nervous systems and one another.
This is KOA Unplugged — honest conversations, diverse perspectives and a shared curiosity about what helps us feel more regulated, connected and at ease.
