Sparks Police have made an arrest in Tuesday mornings shooting death at a 22nd street motel. 32 year old Michael Carmazzi is facing a first degree murder charge.The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of relatives. According to Sparks Police the body was found after the suspect himself told a woman staying at the motel that there was a dead body in one of the rooms.

The city of Reno is trying to get the budget in place for the coming year, but it's being rejected by the mayor because key priorities being pressed by the council were left out. There's no money in the new spending plan for code enforcement or new police officers.
