    A 3-year-old girl was taken by Care Flight from Gardnerville after falling out of a second-story window yesterday afternoon. It appears she leaned against the screen in a room on the second-story and fell through, landing on the concrete below. The girls condition has not been released, but according to officials on the scene, she was conscious while being transferred to the hospital.

  • 4/29/16 9 PM - Top of the Hour Newscast
    Raiders owner Mark Davis says he wants to move the team to Las Vegas and is willing to spend a half billion dollars as part of a deal for a new stadium in the city. Davis upped the ante in a bid to move the team to this gambling city, appearing Thursday alongside soccer great David Beckham and billionaire casino owner Sheldon Adelson before a committee studying the idea of a $1.4 billion stadium. He repeated what he said he told Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval a few weeks ago, saying the Raiders want to turn the Silver State into the "silver and black state."

  • 4/29/16 8 PM - Top of the Hour Newscast
    The raids on a local car dealership and doctors office are connected to an overdose death. Dr. Robert Rand was arrested in San Francisco Friday. Rand is charged with distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death, and Richard West the second, is also charged with three separate counts of distribution of oxycodone. Seven others are charged in a criminal complaint with conspiracy to distribute, and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.

  • 4/29/16 7 PM - Top of the Hour Newscast
    A Reno Police officer may be cited for a crash yesterday morning on highway 395. The officer was near the North McCarran exit, headed to a call, but was not using lights or his siren. NHP Troopers say the officer looked down for a moment, and when he looked back up, traffic had slowed and he didn't have time to stop. He hit the rear of one vehicle and the left side of another while swerving. He then hit the left rear of a pickup, which hit an SUV. A total of five vehicles were involved in the crash.

    As many have guessed, the raids on a local car dealership are about drugs. Several more arrests are being reported, including a still unnamed local doctor and as many as eight others, as part of an alleged conspiracy to distribute addictive prescription narcotics, including Oxycodone. This following raids on the home of Richard West the Second, and the Jones West Ford Dealership. Besides West, in custody are several people with employment ties to the business, Braden Riley, Joshua Green, Omar Ahmad and Kathleen Griffin. All, including West, are being held on DEA or "federal matter" charges. The dealership remains open and Richard West Sr, is indicating that the dealership itself is NOT the focus of the probe.

    The Nevada Department of Transportation gathered the community together to display some design concepts that will help alleviate some of the traffic at the spaghetti bowl. Some of the ideas that NDOT's engineers have come up with include closing the Glendale or Mill off ramps during heavy commute times, or adding metering ramps on Rock Blvd, or in the middle of the bowl itself.
