Two bodies were found Saturday at the Northwood Pines Motel in Kings Beach. Around 4:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon authorities received a call about shots fired and a man at the motel with a gun. When deputies arrived, they found a man and a woman dead. Sgt. David Hunt with Placer County says it appears the two people were neighbors and the shooting may have been result of an ongoing dispute. The Sheriff's Office is not releasing names at this point.....

A Nevada judge wants to know who's in charge of the upcoming execution of a death-row inmate who wants his sentence carried out, after the state's top doctor quit. Clark County District Judge Jennifer Togliatti on Friday gave the state attorney general's office until today (MON) to come up with an answer. Federal public defenders are challenging a never-before-tried combination of three drugs the former chief state medical officer, Dr. John DiMuro, approved for the first execution in Nevada in 11 years.....

. Reno Police are looking for whoever shot and killed a woman who was found after her car drove into a building on Parkview Street near Mazzone Avenue and Neil Road on November 2nd. Police were called to a "vehicle into a building" at about 4:20 Thursday morning. When they showed up they discovered 26 year old Luz Linares dead with gunshot wounds inside a running vehicle in the intersection. A reward of $2500 is now being offer for tips on the shooting, so if you have information, call secret witness at 322-49-00. You can remain anonymous.

A jury has been picked for the trial of rancher Cliven Bundy, two sons and one other co-defendant on federal charges stemming from an April 2014 armed standoff with federal agents. U.S. Attorney's office spokeswoman Trisha Young said the judge, prosecutors and defendants on Thursday finished choosing a panel of 12 jurors and four alternates to hear what is expected to be a four-month long trial. Opening statements are scheduled for Tuesday.
