One person has died in an early-morning house fire. The fire was reported on Aquifer Way near Reservoir Street just after 5:30 a.m. Monday. Chief Charles Moore says the fire was in the attic. No cause has been determined, and the name of the person who died has not been released. The circumstances of the death are under investigation....

One person is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Sparks. Washoe County Sheriff's spokesman Bob Harmon says this happened as Sparks Police responded to a domestic disturbance report Sunday morning....

Reno Police are also investigating a similar armed robbery at the McCaren Mart on Stead and Lear Boulevard that happened around 1 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call Secret Witness at 322-4900....
