One person is dead and a second was taken by a Care Flight medical helicopter to a hospital after an accident in Douglas County Wednesday afternoon. NHP says the person taken by Care Flight has life-threatening injuries. The accident happened at Nevada 88 and Kimmerling Way at 3:23 p.m. near Gardnerville. Nevada 88 was reported to be closed in both directions.....
