The Metropolitan Police Department in Clark County is now saying that Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos was shot 6 minutes before the 1 October shooter began shooting into the crowd.

Reno Police say a man robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Northtowne Lane yesterday at about one o'clock in the afternoon. The man is described as a white male adult, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5’6” tall and about 170 pounds. Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with this bank robbery. Reno Police are asking for help identifying this suspect.

It looks like Reno's going to have to come up with an extra two-point-seven million dollars as part of a 27-million dollars tax refund owed to an as yet unidentified company for sales taxes paid to Nevada, but owed to another state. Reno City officials say they'll pay the money from the city's reserves. The Reno Gazette-Journal says the city's finance director says Washoe County could owe four-point-six million dollars and Sparks may owe one-point-four million.

Reno Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a 24-year-old Reno man this morning at West 4th Street and Summit Ridge Drive. Police and REMSA were called to that location on a report of a person down in the roadway. Investigators say the pedestrian was either walking or standing in the middle of the roadway on West 4th when he was struck and killed by a westbound vehicle. The vehicle was left at the scene, however the driver left the area on foot. The victim's identity is not being released until family have been notified.
