The City of Reno's Public Works Department is pulling out sediment and cobble stones from the Truckee River at Wingfield to restore the whitewater area before winter sets in.

The Regional Transportation Commission is in the midst of the their 4th Street/ Prater way RAPID Transit project. Prater is closed heading eastbound, and only one lane is open westbound, until the 24th.
