After the Las Vegas tragedy, Nevada's Attorney General, Adam Laxalt is taking heat for opposing voter approved background checks that have not been implemented since they were approved last November. He says he's not the reason the initiative does not work.
He says his family has been subjected to death threats since the Las Vegas attacks as people blame him for the poorly written initiative he opposed that provided no funding for background checks to be done by the F-B-I. Laxalt says the state's voters cannot just assign tasks to the FBI.
