Officials with the Lyon County Sheriff's Office say they have found three family members dead at two separate locations in Silver Springs. Deputies responded to a medical call in the 28-hundred block ofTonopah Avenue at about 8:17 last (Saturday) night where they found a dead 46-year-old woman. Deputies then went to the home of relatives of the dead woman in the three-thousand block of East Third Street to notify them of the death. There they found two additional deceased people. An investigation is underway to determine if the deaths are connected. The names of the dead individuals have not yet been released.

t's been called the Las Vegas Massacre, and other names, but after consulting with various public officials-- local law enforcement and other entities have a new name for the tragic event. Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak announced this at a news conference.

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman got annoyed this week when talking with CNN's Wolf Blitzer about what went wrong when a man was able to bring so many lethal weapons into a hotel, without anyone noticing.
