The Reno Police Department has released arrest information during Street Vibrations. There were 38 arrests during the event, 15 misdemeanor citations and 65 traffic citations. Police caution that that does not necessarily mean all of these involved Street Vibrations participants. Three of the arrests were for felonies, including trafficking a controlled substance, sales of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Police also say they did traffic and safety enforcement in the area of the event. That led to one felony arrest for possession of a controlled substance and nine misdemeanor arrests, eight of them for outstanding arrest warrants and one for jaywalking. Reno police increased staff during the event to improve safety.
