The Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch reported in the last hour that a new grass & brush fire dubbed the Nine Hill Fire is spreading near Eastlake Blvd SE of Washoe Lake.

Firefighters are on the scene of the Crystal Fire, near the Crystal Peak mine in the Dog Valley area west of Reno. It's burned about an acre of timber at the latest report.
