Shortly after 8pm last night an armed robbery occurred at 325 Harbor Cove near the Sparks Marina. Although one of the suspects fired a handgun as he fled, no injuries were reported.

The Washoe County School District says the K-12 budget passed by democrats would leave them with a 13 million dollar deficit over the next two years, after they closed a 40 million dollar budget hole this year.

Governor Brian Sandoval called on legislators to give some relief to the Washoe County School District.
