The Superintendent of the Washoe County School District, Traci Davis, has said Senate Bill 544 will result in a $6.6 million annual shortfall for the district for each of the next two years.

The Washoe County School District says the K-12 budget passed by democrats would leave them with a 13 million dollar deficit over the next two years, after they closed a 40 million dollar budget hole this year....

Governor Brian Sandoval has decided there will be no special session, or extension of the current session, telling reporters "The session will end Monday at midnight."
