Just getting underway, Congressman Mark Amodei and US Senator Dean Heller taking your questions at a townhall that could turn contentious.

Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske says her office is investigating possible voter fraud. She specifically cited evidence of non-citizens voting, and sent a letter to DMV requesting that voter registration materials NOT be given to those using a green card for identification. Her letter said that the practice must "cease immediately", and that non-citizens have registered to vote as a direct result of DMV's practices.

A packed townhall meeting hosted by Senator Dean Heller and Congressman Mark Amodei became a shouting match, as people battled over the Affordable Care Act, Planned Parenthood Funding and other issues.

Lyon County sheriff's deputies unsuccessfully tried to get a man to come out of his Dayton home for hours Friday night, but were able to arrest him without incident about 6:30am Saturday morning. Residents reported that Ryan Cunningham, who was heavily intoxicated, threatened to kill himself and others in the 100 block of Fireman Row. Deputies surrounded the residence, but backed off and Cunningham finally gave himself up and came out of his house unarmed. He was booked for assault with a deadly weapon with a domestic enhancement.

Congressman Mark Amodei and Senator Dean Heller say they will host a town hall meeting on health care and immigration in Reno on Monday, April 17th from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Room C1, located at 4590 S. Virginia Street. Heller says: “As the debate about how to best address our health care and immigration systems moves forward, this town hall meeting is an opportunity to gather important feedback from Nevadans to bring back to Washington."
