Congressman Mark Amodei and Senator Dean Heller are hosting a townhall Monday to discuss issues that are on the minds of many, including the hot button topics of immigration and healthcare.

Lyon County sheriff's deputies unsuccessfully tried to get a man to come out of his Dayton home for hours last night, but were able to arrest him without incident about 6:30am this morning.

On Friday, Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske said her office is investigating voter fraud in last year's election. She specifically cited evidence of non-citizens voting, and sent a letter to DMV requesting that voter registration materials *not* be given to those using a green card for identification.

After a year of repairs, the City of Reno's downtown parking garage is open again. And while they will charge for parking, they'll give you a break if you park there while on city business.
