The new renewable energy standards bill by Assemblyman Chris Brooks got it's first hearings this week , in the Assembly Subcommittee on Energy. It requires Nevada's energy portfolio achieve a goal of 50% renewables by the year 2030. Andy Maggi of Renew NV, says this is achievable and will be good for consumers pocketbooks, not a burden.
