A home in Lemmon Valley suffered major damage from fire early yesterday, and it's apparently a case of arson by the resident.

A suspect is being sought by Reno Police in connection to a stabbing which resulted in the hospitalization of a woman early this morning around 1am. RPD Lt. Garlock says the stabbing occurred at the Silverada Estates on Oddie Boulevard as a result of a disagreement between a man and a woman. After the stabbing, the man took off on foot. The victim was taken to the hospital with what is said to be non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information that will help to locate the male suspect should call Secret Witness at 322-4900....
