As many as seven people have been taken to the hospital after a crash at Rock between Longley and Edison, none of those injuries are believed to be life threatening. Reno Police say the crash, which happened about 3PM (Thursday) involved an SUV and a station wagon. One driver T-boned the other at the three-way intersection where there is no traffic light.....

A brush fire has grown slightly in the Pinenut Mountains in Douglas County between Gardnerville and Topaz Lake, according to Sierra Front. The Holiday Fire was reported about 7 Thursday night, and has grown to 55 acres, with low spread potential, according to Sierra Front. The cause of the fire has not been determined. It is burning near where the Preacher Fire burned in July, between Ray May and Leviathan Mine Road. Two people were in the area in a broken down vehicle and have been rescued.....
