They are looking for the vehicle believed to have struck the man shortly after 9 p.m. Deputies described it as a white, full-size pickup truck with a blue bed and a lumber rack. The suspect vehicle should have significant front end damage. There’s no crosswalk in the area. The sheriff’s office does not know at this time if the man was crossing the street or was walking on the shoulder.
