While addressing supporters at a rally in Reno Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump provided details on the wall he plans to build between Mexico and the United States.

A 5-year-old girl was struck by a car on this morning around 10:20 a.m. in the area of Prater Way and I Street in Sparks. According to Sparks Police, the girl who was struck is suffering from concerning injuries. She was in the crosswalk, and the walk signal was on when she was hit on Prater Way. There is currently no information available about the cause of the accident or about driver.

Donald Trump's campaign manager says that a Trump protester involved in a disturbance at a rally in Reno, was "a Democratic plant or operative." Trump was speaking to supporters when chaos broke out in the crowd, and Secret Service agents pulled Trump off stage. A man claiming to be the protester said he was carrying a sign that read "Republicans against Trump" when he was attacked. The man said he heard one person yell "something about a gun." Kellyanne Conway tells CNN's "State of the Union" that the protester was canvassing for Clinton and was put there by the Democratic campaign, but offered no details or proof.

One of the eldest residents of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation at 99-years-young, Flora Green used an early voting site located on her ancestor’s land to vote in the most important election of her lifetime. Green was born in 1917, which was well before Native Americans were granted the right to vote in the U.S. elections via the Indian Citizen Act of 1924.

A public forum was held this week by Washoe County, to discuss a proposed public lands bill that would transfer nearly a million acres of public federal land to state and regional entities. Some of that land could be used for infrastructure and development, but some would remain undeveloped.
