5 people were safely rescued off of Pyramid Lake today after two separate reports of vessels in distress. Authorities received the reports at approximately 2:30 p.m. 4 people were reported on one vessel and the other was occupied by 1 person. The incident happened half a mile off the shore of Pelican Point. No injuries were reported.

The Regional transportation commission says Pembroke Drive will be closed to all traffic beginning tomorrow. The closure will last about two months and is being implemented in order to move a water line as work continues on the SouthEast Connector project. The closure will be between the Rosewood Lakes Golf Course Clubhouse to east of the creek near Hidden Valley. Mira Loma Drive will remain open as an alternate route and as access for emergency services.

Sparks Police have arrested three suspects and are looking for two more in the robbery of the Scheel's Sporting Good Store this (Sunday) afternoon. Store security personnel told police that two men and a woman concealed a large number of items on their bodies and tried to leave the store without paying. Police say, when security confronted the three, one of the men pointed a gun at a loss prevention officer. The three ran from the store, and three were located and arrested a short time later, however it was determined a total of five people had been involved in the robbery. Police are gathering information and will soon release information on the two outstanding suspects. A vehicle used during the incident was determined to to have been stolen.

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren will be campaigning for Hillary Clinton and U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto this Wednesday. Warren will lay out the high stakes of November's elections for Nevada families and urge grassroots supporters and students to volunteer in the final days leading up to Election Day. She will make stops in Carson City and Reno. Event details have not been released.

As the investigation into sexual harrassment claims against fired Reno City Manager Andrew Clinger winds down, it looks like the three women who've made the complaints against Clinger, won't be interviewed by investigators. According to the RGJ, Mark Mausert, a lawyer for the three women, says he won't allow it without specific conditions. He doesn't want the interviews recorded, or used against them in any future legal case. Those conditions won't be met by the city.
