The protesters involved in the Columbus day march downtown are taking their case to the Department of Justice, pushing for an internal investigation into the Reno Police Department's action against the man who hit several people with his truck, and was charged with a misdemeanor.

Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons who vandalized Fernley Park. On October 20th, during the evening hours, The vandals broke concrete picnic tables and damaged landscaping, a covered patio, and the restrooms. The loss is estimated as high as three-thousand dollars. One suspect has been arrested, but others are still being sought.
