Lyon County police are confirming that there has been a shooting at the Chevron Station at 95A and 50 in Silver Springs.

The Lyon County Sheriff's office is in the process of investigating a homicide that occurred in Silver Springs around 5:00 this evening. Deputies were called to the report of a shooting at the Chevron Station at the intersection of 95-A and 50. Investigators are currently in the process of gathering witness comments to determine what has happened. There are no suspects in custody and there's no description of any potential suspect or of the victim.
