The student center at Truckee Meadows Community College was filled to capacity for Hillary Clinton's rally, many coming out to support the candidate, including some who you wouldn't expect to endorse her. And protestors showed up too.

Three people in Carson City have been arrested for counterfeiting. 21 year old Conrad Hilbmann, 22 year old Lorrie Lockwood, and 22 year old Kathleen M. Lockwood, 22, were arrested on suspicion of counterfeiting, possession of a financial forgery lab, possession of forged bills, passing counterfeit money and conspiracy to commit forgery. Investigators seized more than $3,000 in counterfeit currency and searched a Carson City motel and found a counterfeit currency manufacturing lab, counterfeit money in various stages of production and a small amount of methamphetamine. The United States Secret Service was also involved in the case.

Reno Police continue investigating a stabbing at Yori Park that happened earlier this evening. Police say they were called to a report of a fight at the park a little before 8:00 this (Thursday) evening. The injured man was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center with an injury said to be non-life threatening. Officers say no one has been arrested and appears to be gang-related so the gang unit will be handling the investigation. Police are currently talking to witnesses about the stabbing.

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe wants to send a message to burners heading to Black Rock City to obey the rules of the road while working your way through the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation. They' have added more tribal law enforcement to monitor the area this week and next. Be extra cautious when driving, don't dump trash on the highway, and be mindful of the Natchez Elementary School zone near 447 and Wadsworth.

Nevada students' average score on the ACT is the worst in the nation. A report released Wednesday showed the average composite score of Nevada students in the Class of 2016 was 17.7 out of 36. That's the lowest among the 18 states that try to test all of their high school juniors, as well as among states where fewer take the test and scores trend higher. State superintendent Steve Canavero noted that Nevada has a diverse and often transient student body, but says that shouldn't be an excuse for the persistently low scores.
