The Reno Fire Department responded at 1:40 AM this morning to the 1300 block of Stardust St. for an apartment fire.

Reno firefighters responded to the scene of a three-alarm structure fire this morning at the Stardust Apartments on Stardust Street in northwest Reno.

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is hoping you can help them track down a South Shore man who's been missing for more than a month.

The Reno Fire Department responded this morning at 1:40 AM to the 1300 block of Stardust St. for an apartment fire. While en route, there was a report of 2 people trapped on the 3rd floor balcony. The first unit arrived within 3 minutes to find at least one apartment fully engulfed.....

A minor evacuation was ordered on North Fork Road in Fernley near Farm District Road due to a gas leak that was reported around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office. Southwest Gas was called in to take care of the leak. About six homes were evacuated because of the leak that was caused by a backhoe operator.....

A man has been sentenced to life in prison for the sexual assault of a woman Christmas Eve 2015. 29 year old Chad Anthony Phillips was charged with the sexual assault of a 34 year old Reno woman, who was working alone inside a North Reno sandwich shop when Phillips entered, said he had a knife, and forced the woman to perform sexual acts. The victim called 911 shortly after Phillips left the store, gave a description of her assailant, and Phillips was quickly apprehended.....
