    Newly released campaign finance reports show Republican lawmakers who supported Gov. Brian Sandoval's tax package have outraised their anti-tax Republican challengers so far this year. The real test though is at the ballot box, where voters will choose between different stripes of Republicans in the June 14 primary. The reports, released last week show that more moderate Republican Assembly members backed by Majority Leader Paul Anderson have individually raised more money than candidates backed by anti-tax incumbent Republican Assemblyman Brent Jones.

    Reno Police say a driver suffered life threatening injuries after the GMC truck he was driving crashed into the front door of Peg's Glorified Ham n Eggs on South Sierra Street early yesterday afternoon. Police say it appears the 57-year-old Reno man suffered a medical condition which rendered him unconscious while driving south on Sierra Street causing the truck to go off the road and into the business. The unidentified man is currently in the ICU at Renown Regional Medical Center. Police say neither alcohol nor speeding appears to be factor.
