    Authorities have identified two hikers who died after falling from a cliff at Las Vegas' Red Rock Canyon. The Clark County Coroner's office identified the deceased as 49-year-old Sean Christopher Randles and 42-year-old Melanie Leigh Kushnir, both of Las Vegas. A cause of death is still pending. Police received several emergency calls around 3:30 p.m. Saturday about a man and a woman who were hurt after falling in the Red Rock National Recreation Area. An air rescue unit located both of them near the Pine Creek Trail but they were pronounced dead. The incident is still under investigation.

    A teenage boy charged with open murder will be tried as an adult, according to the Washoe County District Attorney's Office. 15-year-old Christian Scott is accused of shooting another teen during a robbery at Pat Baker Park on the afternoon of December 29th last year. The victim, a 16 year old boy, was shot in the head.

    The Carson City Sheriff's Office says Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of three suspects who burglarized the J-C Penney store on Carson Street and stole jewelry. Sheriff's investigators say the thieves broke through an exterior and interior door with a large rock and were in and out within two minutes. There is no reliable description available for any of the three suspects. They escaped with an unspecified amount of jewelry.

    Sparks police report a person was injured in a shooting just before 9:30 Friday night in the 2300 block of Prater Way. A bystander hailed passing police and directed them to the victim, who was transported to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.The suspects are described as 3 Hispanic males from the ages of 18 - 25 yrs old.     Sparks Police and Fire have called off their search for a child reported missing at Sparks Marina. A witness reported that a child went under water while swimming at the Marina. The child is described as an 8 year old, unknown race male with dark skin, light brown hair, and wearing a blue and black pair of shorts with a military video game design. At this time, officials have not located the child or his parents. Authorities believe the child may live near the Marina. They attempted to locate the child on the beach and nearby apartments in the event he left the water on his own, out of sight of the witness. If you have any information,you're asked to call Sparks Police.

    Sparks Police and Fire are still responding to an report of a missing child that went under water while swimming at the Sparks Marina. The child is described as 8 year old, unknown race male with dark skin, light brown hair, and wearing a blue and black pair of shorts with military video game design. At this time, officials have not located the child or his parents. One witness said that the child went under water. Search and rescue efforts are still underway. Officials say they have attempted to locate the child on the beach and at nearby apartments in the event he left the water on his own.
