  • Episode Three, CHRISTOPHER BARD

    Welcome!

This week i have Chris on the show to talk about our collaboration on his song "Angel With Broken Wings"

We discuss working in music in a few different facets as well as overcoming boredom within the pandemic.
Christopher was born and raised in the heart of Quebec Which is mainly French speaking so we talk a bit about this as well.

  • Volume Academy Podcast INTRO

This is an intro episode to a my new series, i loved the concept of the got yah covered pod and i wanted to expand on that format a bit more but bring my original music past present and future on to the table. In this series i will be talking with friends and peers old and new from musicians to mastering engineers.

not much going on in this episode just getting used to this whole podcast thing again, its been awhile!

    Thanks

  • GOTTA DRUMMER! - EPISODE 10 - "RIGHT IN TWO" BY TOOL

This weeks episode is a special drum focused one. To change things up a bit Justin and I decided to have a conversation about Justins drum cover of the song Right In Two by Tool. I had so many question about how Justin approached this song and how Danny Carey has been an influence on Justin's playing. This song is spectacular and Coolahan's drumming on it is exquisite. Because justin's cover includes the original audio i could not include it in the podcast but i have included a link to it so you can see him tear it up.

    Thank you and enjoy!

Welcome!! After a great run of videos and podcast episodes with my buddy Justin Coolahan I have decided i would like to continue this podcasting thing.
