Kori Kameda's Volume Academy

Morning View was one of the most laid back records and a big turning point for INCUBUS sonically they had not made an album like this and while it may have lost some fans of the harder edged Incubus community it also gained many new fans and also allowed a lot of people to grow with the group. We feel like this song basically sums up the morning view record because its just so "chill" We hope you enjoy this episode and are reminded of great times while listening to this song and if you hate this song and album we are not sorry. :)

Enjoy Incubus! (if you know you know)

Well this is kind of where it all began, Justin and Kori have a strong love for the music by the band TOOL this was actually the first collaboration they did together before even deciding to do the podcast. In this episode you get to hear the guys discuss how they met and how they approached this song. it was a tricky one because the performances were done old school no punching in for recordings all one take performances from Justin and Kori, a song with so many nuances is no easy feat!! hope you all enjoy this episode as it was so fun for us! also happy birthday to TOOL's record Lateralus which turned 20 years old today!!

Thanks for checking things out! next week will be a song by INCUBUS!!!

Well its been awhile in the making but we made it! this is episode number 1!

Rather than just talk about how we feel about the music we enjoy we made it our mission to deep dive into these songs by actually reverse engineering all the facets of the song to the best of our ability. It is so fun and inspiring to play/create music but like all musicians it all starts with learning the songs you love this podcast shows how we go about it.

Enjoy!
