KOTO MMA (Knights of the Octagon)

Welcome to show #160 where we talk to Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion, Tonya Evinger. One of our all-time favorite guests, Tonya is fresh off her latest title defense at Invicta FC 17 against Colleen Schneider  that extended her win streak to 9 bouts. Tonya also answers questions from the live audience, describes the Laura Sanko kiss, gets a bucket out in case she hurls and talks a bout a few things both inside and outside the cage. In the middle of the chat Chucky Cheats exits abruptly to meet his wife at the hospital after she suffered an injury at BJJ. All was (somewhat) ok and Mrs. Cheats will be back on the mats by the end of the year, stronger and better than ever. Yak tried to recap UFC 198 and the highlights included a day of vodka and sleep. See you all Monday night at 9pm est!

Joining us live was our resident MMA Maniac Sir ZZ Topless (aka Andrew Goodman) and UFC Welterweight, our dear pal and all around great guy George Sullivan. A great afternoon of shooting the breeze of MMA, drinking and fun by all. Listen to our pics and Kayak get hammered by the minute.

We all got drunk and talked to our KOTO family discussing UFC 198 as well as Bellator and the showdown between Mr. Wonderful and King Mo.

This week KOTOMMA talks to one of their all-time favorite guests, Bellator Light Heavyweight Linton “The Swarm” Vassell. The Swarm talks about his upcoming fight against UFC Vet Francis Carmont that will take place July 16th at the O2 Arena in front of his friends and family in London, England. Kayak and Chucky Cheats catch up with the Swarm and talk about how he’s been since the last time he was on with us and how he made Emmanuel Newton look dopey in his last fight (going to have to fight him a third time sooner or later, we are sure). After a few questions from the live listeners we let Linton continue the “walk” he was on and we discuss this week’s upcoming fights. We look forward to rooting on Linton July 16th and talking to him soon.

This week we talk to UFC Bantamweight Aljamain “The Funkmaster” Sterling.  Al is out and about in NYC, ordering dinner, chatting with KOTO and continuing on the road to stardom. Chuck and Yak aslo discuss the Dragon failing his drug test, an MMA fatality and address questions from the live audience.

KOTOMMA #154.  This week Kayak and Chucky Cheats had the pleasure of welcoming XCC Middleweight Lex Ludlow. Lex will be making his pro debut at XCC 24 at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA on April 30th. In an entertaining and lengthy discussion we cover everything from Notorious love, fighters ducking him, how we stack up against other shows Lex has been on, the XCC, video games, the need for Lex to discover good music and a whole lot more. New listeners and regular listeners all loved Lex and hopefully we will have him on to guest host with us soon. Good luck to Lex on April 30th… we look forward to seeing him dust Stephond Ewins and coming back to bask in the glory.

Welcome to the podcast version of Monday night's live show. Another Monday night of Knights of the Octagon and this week we talk to the queen bee of Xtreme Caged Combat, Helen Locura. Helen, Chucky and Yak talk about the upcoming XCC 24 card April 30th at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA. XCC 24 will also showcase a Featherweight tournament featuring Francisco Isata vs. Artur Rofi and Alexandre Bezerra vs. Frank Caraballo with the winners of these bouts squaring off on a future card for the XCC Featherweight title. Helen also tells us all about the XCC, future events, the Sands and how she doesn't gamble, some of her pals in the MMA community and her favorite things to do outside the cage. We had a great time talking to Helen and can't wait for XCC 24!

Towards the end of the show the boys call their pal Dr. Snopes who is vacationing down in Panama. Chuck had a question about taking a nut shot and it's effects so who better to call than our friend, Urologist and Surgeon - Dr. Snopes. It sounded like he was having a blast and after answering a few questions from us and some live listeners we let him go back to the rum punch and plethora of lesbians playing water volleyball. Who has it better than Snopesy??

Thanks for tuning in, we will be back next Monday night at 9PM est for an all new show!

Helen Talked all about XCC 24 and how great this card will be!

We catch up with Dr. Snopes down in Panama

Yak and Chucky are back from the 80s cruise and you can hear all about their trip in the hot tub time machine over at TheOtherMikes.com. This week the boys discuss the fights they missed while at sea including Tate's claim of the belt, Stockton 209 WUT and Gaethje's back flips. In addition to recapping all the missed action the boys preview their upcoming new music based show, Knights of the Turn Tables (KOTT). Thanks for tuning in and we are glad to be back. Next week we will have on the Queen of Xtreme Caged Combat, Helen Locura.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

This week we talk to Joe "Florida Boy" Ray just as he landed in NJ from his fight this past weekend for M1-Global in Russia. Although Joe came up on the wrong end of the decision he tells us how great of an experience it was in Moscow. We also discuss the lady talent in Russia, the joys of flying coach and a ton of other topics. Chuck and Kayak discuss the insane ratings Bellator 149 scored, the UFC fight night Sunday, Brady Bunch's birthday and if there was a WSOF card this weekend.

The boys are taking next Monday off as they will both be stepping into the hot tub time machine and traveling on the 80s cruise. KOTO will return Monday, March 7th at 9pm est.

What an amazing show #150 is as this week we have the UFC's #3 Welterweight Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson back on the show to talk about his huge win over Johnny Hendricks, what's up next, hype trains getting derailed, Jack Black and everything else that has been going on since his last time on the show. All of us at KOTO are huge Wonderboy fans and it's always a blast to have him on. The 2nd half of this week's show has another return appearance of a KOTO fav, M1 Global HeavyWeight Jeremy "The BAMF" May. Jeremy talks about the brutal eye poke in his last fight, his new deal with M1 Global, Staph infections and their effect on tattoos as well as a ton of other topics. Jeremy is another great guy to talk to and you never know where the conversation is going to lead. I hope you enjoy the show as much as the live listeners did on Monday night!

This week we have an impromptu discussion with our pal and Invicta FC featherweight, Amanda "The Lady Killer" Bell. When a scheduling mix up made it look like it would be a week without a guest, Amanda was our Lady Killer savior! The discussion covers what happened with her last fight being cancelled, what's on the horizon, her welding talents and how she could be in Flashdance 2, the beauty of Oregon and a ton of other stuff. Chuck and Yak have got to get out there and kick around the wilderness with Amanda or at the very least throw some Maker's Mark back in Portland LOL! Big thanks to Jason Ellis and Relentless Sports Management for putting this together on the fly. Click on the links so you can follow Amanda on Twitter @TheLadyKiller00 and Instagram @TheLadyKillerMMA00

We will be back on Monday night at 9:00 pm est for a special 150th episode with the #3 ranked UFC Welterweight Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson.
