KOTO MMA (Knights of the Octagon)

We are back after a mini hiatus for Kayak to hangout with KISS in Jamaica before Chucky Cheats flew into WDW on the KOTO jet for some Mickey Mouse shenanigans. Sir Southern Comfort rounds out the weekly trio as we welcome back KOTO family member, Willy Sisca. We catch up with Willy before calling WSOF Lightweight Rich Patishnock who will be taking on Luis Polomino in the WSOF 8-man Lightweight tournament. Rich fills us in on all that has gone on since his last appearance, talks WSOF future and even gets hit on by a cougar (it has to be the hair). After Rich, we randomly crank call a random guy that amazingly stays on the phone way too long before we finally get Eric "Even Flow" Roncoroni on the line. Eric is fighting at the Ring of Combat this Friday night at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ against Michael Elshamy. A win will get Even Flow a crack at the 185 RoC belt! Great talking to both guys and all of us at KOTO will be rooting for them this Friday night. We end the show by breaking down the Ronda Rousey loss and give our thoughts on UFC 193.

Go get it Rich!

We will be back on Monday night with one of our favorite guests, Charlie "The Spaniard" Brenneman.

This week we talk to XCC heavyweight Chris "The Big Buck" Birchler. A first timer to the show we talk about everything from flip phones to how he became the Big Buck. Chris will be fighting Bazooka Joe Stripleng on November 13th at XCC 22 in Philadelphia, PA for the heavyweight title. This fight is a rematch from a split decision in 2013 and will be Joe's last MMA fight. ou don't want to miss this battle of the big boys!

That's right we are taking a much needed break while Kayak goes to play with the Rock band KISS in Jamaica, Chucky Cheats joins Yak in Florida for WDW and Epcot's Food and Wine Fesitval and JAC will watch LSU football and continue to record episodes of The Smack Cast. See you in November!

This week we welcome back one of our favorite guests, rising Flyweight star Blaine "The Shuttdown" Shutt. Blaine is fighting again on December 5th for the WCC in Lancaster, PA. Blaine catches up on all the stuff that has gone on since we last had him on such as his hand injury, home ownership, his new car and climbing the Flyweight ranks. We also talk some TV and hot female cartoons for good measure. Enjoy the podcast version of this week's show and we will be back live on Monday night at 9pm est!

The Shuttdown!

This week was a great episode of Knights of the Octagon as we are joined by the greatest cut man on the planet, Jacob "Stitch" Duran. Listeners were asking a ton of questions during the live show and it was a blast to have him answer as many as he could. Our conversation talked about Boxing, MMA and possible future acting roles as well as his role in the upcoming movie, Creed. Stitch also shared a ton of stories and he was one guest that all of us could have talked to for hours. I hope all of you listening to the podcast version enjoy it as much as we did talking to him live. We can wait to have him back in future.

Stitch was a great guest!

We will be back Monday night with an all new KOTO Radio show with rising Flyweight star Blaine "The Shuttdown" Shutt!

This week we catch up with rising light weight star Adam Townsend. Fresh off his victory in the RFA, Adam was in the middle of some family time when we caught up to him to discuss his latest string of victories, fighting 2 on 2, his future plans in the sport and the shady NJ judges. Another great guest from Tennessee... maybe we should move KOTO HQ.

This week we also recap last week's UFC Fightnight and preview UFC 192.

Joe is fighting in Sochi for M-1 on October 10th. Make sure to check him out and support a new member of the KOTO family.

This week the airwaves were turned over to an episode of Knights of the Clown Table. MMA was discussed, clips of the great fighter "mianus" were played, Kayak showed he knew way too much about The Smiths and fun was had by all. For the MMA fans we preview some of the WSOF 23 and Bellator Dynamite action on tap for this weekend. It is refreshing that we are excited for a weekend of fights that does not include the UFC. Enjoy...

This week we talk to #7 Bantamweight in the world... UFC's Aljamain "The FunkMaster" Sterling. Al is KOTO family and we talk everything from possible fight match ups, moving, having his name in the news lately and everything in the world of Funk Daddy. The KOTO crew has nothing but love for Al and we are on that Funkmaster express until the end. Next time we have him on we will get to the NY Giants and Walking Dead questions, maybe we can grab him for one of round table (non MMA) discussion shows in the future.
