Being a Drunk isnt such a big thing - but doing nothing about it IS. Tonights show highlighted too many more peole driving under the influence of Alcohol, causing damage and most importantly DEATHs, yet most of these drivers were repeat offenders. WHAT CAN BE DONE?

1). A man in Lombard, Illinois gets arrested for his 7th DUI after a car crash - where fortunately no one was injured. Questions to ask...What is an appropriate consequence for someone who obviously doesnt get the fact that he is NOT allowed to be driving - especially after drinking. Coherent enough after the crash to switch seats with his passenger to avoid further consequences, What about the 2nd party who agreed to accept responsibility of the iniitial crash?

2). A man previously convicted of a DUI in 2014 - Kills a 2 month pregnant woman who was pushing her vehicle on a Busy street. Lives are changed FOREVER because of bad decisions. 

What are your thoughts on what can be done to stop this?

I AM BACK FROM CHINA! Yes - I was out of town enjoying some of the promises suggested while working my program in RECOVERY. (Alcoholics Anonymous) I was in China from the 22nd of September until the 30th - and what an Adventure I had... Be sure to tune in to hear all about my trip and the observations I made while touring three cities ( SHANG HAI - BEI ZENG - XIAN ) 

Remember I was out of town - literally out of the Country with only a few friends joining me - and was I tempted to drink? Beer was served at every meal - except breakfast. 

How did you all fare while i was out of town? Did you manage to stay the course? 

 

While I am not a Doctor or a Psychologist, nor a Pyschiatrist, nor a Counselor either - I do have a UNIQUE quality that I can share with my Listeners and that is - I TOO AM A ALCOHOLIC - However I am in Recovery for OVER 23 Years and I enjoy sharing my day to day experiences with anyone interested in knowing more or understanding what I have done to keep for falling back into my Addiction.
