Kristen  Bell is an American actress/singer, philanthropist, producer, and mom.

 She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan.

After graduation, Bell moved to New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied musical theater.

In 2004, she won the title role in Veronica Mars, which, over the course of 4 seasons, was nominated for multiple awards. 

In 2013, Bell was the voice of Princess Anna, in the Disney movie Frozen.

Bell's film credits include Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek, Bad Moms, and many more. She received a Golden Globe nomination for the lead role in the critically acclaimed NBC sitcom The Good Place.

Bell lives today in Los Angeles, with her husband Dax Shepard and their 2 children.
