नमस्कार, Kolhapur Sports development and research foundation यांच्या वतीने घेण्यात येणार्या podcast च्या आठव्याभागामध्ये मी गौरेश पोवार आपल्या सर्वांचे स्वागत करतो.

आज आपल्या सोबत आहेत नामांकित sports, Exercise and clinical nutritionist Dr. Vikram Rajadnya. त्यांनी Government B J Medical college, Pune येथुन MBBS तसेच MD Pharmacology ही पदवी मिळवली आहे. तसेच त्यांनी NIN (National institute of nutrition), ICMR (govt. of India), WHO (World health organisation) अश्या organisations मधुन अनेकपदवी व प्रमाणपत्रे मीळवली आहेत. त्यांच्या बौधिक क्षमतेबरोबरच त्यांची खेळामधील कामगिरिही त्याच पातळीची आहे ज्यामध्येत्यांना Junior National Kho Kho मधील महाराष्ट्र संघाचा कर्णधार अशी कामगिरी बजावताना सुवर्ण पदक तसेच National Junior track and field स्पर्धेमध्ये रौप्य पदक मिळालेले आहे. अश्या अनेक प्रेरणादायी कामगिरी बरोबरच ते कोल्हापुरातिल D Y Patil Medical college मध्ये associate professor असुन ते Apex Fitness Pvt. Ltd. चे director आहेत. अनेक International वNational खेळाडुंबरोबार त्यांनी sports nutrition च्या क्षेत्रामध्ये काम क़ेले आहे तसेच pharmacology मध्ये अनेक research publish केली आहेत. Exercise आणि sports nutrition बरोबरच disease Control या क्षेत्रामध्ये obesity, pediatric obesity, diabetes, IHD (Heart Disease), Arthritis अश्या आजारांवर काम केले आहे. अश्या सुप्रसिद्ध Nutritionist चे मी आजच्याpodcast मध्ये स्वागत क़रतो.

KSDRF is an independent non-profit organization in India and specifically in Kolhapur, who works for the development of sports through sports and exercise science education. Many national and international personals and experts are involved and are affiliated with this organization.

Today we are going to interview a person who currently is the director of the graduate Kinesiology program at Dallas Baptist University and has a Ph.D. in Health and physical education from Texas A&M University. He once held positions such as director of graduate sport and recreation management program and also the Interim Chair of Kinesiology department at Hardin-Simmons University. He has numerous presentations, publications, and affiliations in national and international conferences, research journals, and organizations. Today we are going to interview Sports Psychologist Dr. Karanbir Singh who is a TED talker and has a Ph.D. in sports psychology and also a gold medalist. He has worked with many international and national athletes who are Olympians, Asian game medalists, commonwealth game medalists. He has worked with Army sports institutes in Pune and currently is associated with a high performance training center at Tata steel Jamshedpur as a sports psychologist.
