  • The Haunting Story of Hélène Berr, The French Anne Frank
    Hélène Berr is often referred to as the Anne Frank of France. A traveling exhibit based on her personal diary is now open at the Northwest Reno Library. There will be an opening reception Thursday night from 6-8 pm. Deborah Farnault-Sinclair is with the Memorial de la Shoah in Paris, which curated the work. She says it's especially relevant in light of several recent anti-Semitic acts across the U.S. Farnault-Sinclair spoke with our News Director Michelle Billman to share more about the exhibit.

  • Reno Is Getting A Container Park
    Construction started earlier this month to transform a long-vacant lot in downtown Reno into a community gathering spot. The development is called The Eddy and will open next month as Reno's first container park, made with re-purposed shipping containers.   • Report: Women In Nevada Earn 82 Percent Of Men
    Women working full-time in Nevada are making less than 82 percent of their male counterparts. That’s according to the latest report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Reno Public Radio’s Noah Glick explores why. Between 2014 and 2015, the ratio of women’s earnings compared to men’s dropped by more than four percentage points.
