That's a 2 cd set of punk artists covering some Dr Demento Staples, and some Dr Demento artists covering some classic punk!

This edition of KVC-Arts has Emmanuel Rogers in conversation with Lisa Napoli about her book, Ray and Joan: The Man Who Made the McDonald's Fortune and the Woman Who gave it All Away. Beyond Ray and Joan, we hear about the original McDonald brothers, and the site of the original McDonald's, on E street in San Bernardino. We'll also have a brief radio essay from Miles Johnson, talking about rap and hip hop producer, Frank Ocean.

We'll hear about the history of the show, a few behind the scenes moments, and rules for submission for the Tiny Desk Concert Contest. Then we have Lillian Vasquez in conversation with John Tesh. Kenny Vance was one of the founders of Jay and the Americans. Later, he served as music director for Animal House, Eddie and the Cruisers and more - namely though, the first one - American Hot Wax. Kenny also appeared in the movie as Professor La Plano leader of The Planotones. In 1992, Kenny formed the no longer fictitious group, The Planotones and are touring to this day. David Fleming spoke with Kenny on the day of their newest cd, For Your Love.

Frank Zappa released the album "Hot Rats" in 1969, about a month after Dweezil Zappa was born. The album was actually dedicated TO Dweezil.
