I tried to make a lighter episode, whoops! I still hope you have fun kvetching with me. I understand my position as I talk about this is one of privilege, access, and choice. This episode is complicated and I know it's a privilege to be able to choose what I eat and where I shop etc.

The emotional labor that folks do while living anywhere outside of the mainstream is real. I'm here as a Jewish, queer, nonbinary person who also only eats plants - so I'm going to talk about suffering where I see it - whether that be in how we structure grocery stores and who has access to them, to the suffering of animals, humans, and this planet.

Cancel Culture: A heated topic that can be very complicated and nuanced. Seemingly it’s easier for us to cancel people than actually doing the real work necessary to heal our communities. and that’s one of the reasons why cancel culture has become so popular.
