Do you like longboats? How about beards and violence? Then the KWUR Theater of the Air has a show for you! David and David play two installments of The Monsoon Season Chronicles and a brand-new Viking-themed Improv Theater of the Air sketch. Also, the Word of the Day is “Knarr”.

MSC Episode Three:

The journalists emerge from the network of caves into a vast desert. But they aren’t alone. The trio quickly find themselves enslaved by a tribe of strange, animal-headed people.

Episode 31:

By the whiskers of Bast, it’s an Egypt-themed episode! We play the third installment of the mysterious Monsoon Season Chronicles, the recovered audio documentary given to us by Professor Bill Farber of Sea Grove, New Jersey. Then David and David dish out a full platter of other Egyptological radio theater, including an all-new sketch by the Improv Theater of the Air.

MSC Episode Two:

After crashing their plane through the surface of island Q-8, the journalists discover a mysterious network of caves leading to other islands. They begin to explore the underground tunnels, hoping to find a way back home.

MSC Episode One:

December 2006. Three young journalists – Dave, David, and Alex – are shipwrecked on assignment. They awake on the shores of a haunted isle, deep in the Caribbean. March 2008. Two steel crates of tapes wash ashore in Sea Grove, New Jersey. The recordings describe the journalists’ attempt to escape the ghost-infested island. These are The Monsoon Season Chronicles.

This week on the KWUR Theater of the Air, David and David present a curiosity – the first of a series of mysterious tapes describing the adventures of a trio of shipwrecked journalists. These tapes – never before released to the public – were discovered by Dr. Bill Farber, who has dubbed them “The Monsoon Season Chronicles”.

Episode 29:

Look – up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… The KWUR Theater of the Air! And this week, David and David are bringing you sketches that take place in the air. We’ve got zeppelins in Montana Morris and Sky Pirates! Episode 3, followed by some scarier airborne phenomena, like bees and hurricanes.
