Like James Harden to start this season, Irving could lose game salary for each night he misses in quarantine if the league finds him in violation of the protocol. Irving has missed four straight games for the Brooklyn Nets for "personal reasons" after Steve Nash initially did not know where he was hours before the first game he missed.
