The man who shot six Philadelphia police officers in an hours-long standoff in 2019 will be sentenced on Thursday.
A jury found Maurice Hill guilty of attempted murder, aggravated assault and related charges in May.
Hill never denied he was the gunman. But, during the trial, he said he believed the people entering his home were intruders, and when he realized they were police, he was scared for his life.
Hill, 42, faces decades in prison, possibly the rest of his life.
