Today we are joined by Charne Felix, an incredible para-athlete and a dear friend! We discuss her incredible journey on how she came to hold the African record for 100-meter sprint and the South African record for long jump, seemingly overnight! Charne was born with a club foot, a condition where the foot is rotated internally towards the ankle that at the time could only be dealt with through multiple surgeries. She’s also an ambassador for “Steps for Africa”, a charity Organization whose mission it is to enhance the lives of children born with clubfoot in South Africa and to bring awareness to the condition. We hope you guys enjoy this episode as much as we did. Be sure to check her out on Instagram @charnefelix_t44 and if you want to find out more about clubfoot check out the charity organization @steps_southafrica.
