This week the Librarians are experiencing Christmas madness and delivering the sordid tale of Cleveland's own Iron Flapper- Velma West, who made national headlines in the roaring twenties (and surprisingly is NOT the inspiration for the character of Foxy Roxie Hart, despite a myriad of murderous similarities) Don't Wiig out if this week sounds a bit different while we work through a new audio setup and for everyone's sake DON'T MAKE US SING!!
This week the Librarians take you to Willoughby to learn the sad Christmas Eve tale of the mysterious Girl in Blue and the spooky story of the Haunting of Willoughby Coal. Beth goes Liam Neeson on the missing person board at Walmart, Britta teaches a master class on segues, and we all take a trip to another dimension....the Twilight Zone.

The Librarians are back with part two to cover Kevin Young's trial, possible theories that have gone (mostly) un-explored, Beth's irrational (maybe) horror at people who stay up late on weeknights, and too much (maybe) accidental ASMR from Britta.
TW: Descriptions of graphic violence, murder, mentions of suicide, alcohol abuse
Today the Librarians take a deep dive into the unsolved murder of 16-year-old Lisa Pruett. An honors student from idyllic Shaker Heights, Lisa was creative, athletic, and loved by many. With tragedy at the end of every loose thread we may never know the answer to the question, "Who killed Lisa Pruett?"
This is part one of a two part series.
TW: mention of rape and sexual assault, mention of mental illness and suicidal ideation, descriptions of graphic injury and violence, quotations of hate speech.
Happy Halloween Eve-Eve!
Today the Librarians are diving headfirst into the urban legend of Gore Orphanage. Some say hundreds of children died in a fire set by their malicious caretakers. Others claim that the activity of spiritualists drew ghosts to area. Settle in and help us de-bunk the story that had led to 100's of Reddit threads and a tri-city feud over who can claim the GORE-y details....
The Librarians are here to recommend some films set ON Halloween for your spooky movie nights!
What happens when the third film in a franchise takes a wildly different turn? Who shouldn't you let sleep in your deceased brother's bedroom (Dan Stevens) When visiting a haunted house how do you REALLY know that it isn't all real? Why was Britta terrified of Christopher Walken for over a decade? If M&Ms spill in a movie theater and no one is around to hear it do they make a sound?
Find all the answers in this weeks episode!
It's the Lake Eerie Library's first book club meeting and they're kicking it off with one of the Librarians' favorite horror authors- Grady Hendrix.
"How To Sell a Haunted House" is a tale of grief, family dynamics, body horror, and creepy toys.
So, grab your copy, and settle in for October's book discussion!
Why doesn't Mars make a vegan, nut-free candy bar? Where did Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall get married? What's the old-timey name for cottage cheese? What if Tina Belcher murdered her entire family to be with Jimmy Junior and then haunted the burger shop forever?
All these questions are answered in this week's episode when the Librarians tell you the story of Ceely Rose, the boy-crazy former resident of Malabar Farm State Park, who was tried for the murders of her Mother, Father, and older brother. Does Ceely still check out the local butts from her bedroom window or is there a different entity haunting this beautiful Ohio state park?
