This week we welcome Love & Logic, the co-owners for SOUP NYC. We are big fans of what the label has been up to lately and after having premiered a few of their releases last year it is great to have them put together a mix for us. Chris Love and AB Logic regulars as DJ's in their respective communities for over two decades, came together several years back to form Love & Logic. If you live in New York and listen to house music then you are surely familiar with this duo and their ability to get a dance floor into a frenzy. They are also know for throwing some of the best parties that NYC has to offer under the SOUP brand. We are excited to have Love & Logic with us this week and will have more coming from them this week including the tracklist and a great Q & A with our featured post on our website (www.losangelesmusicproject.com). Enjoy.

This week LAMP welcomes Vegas duo FlashGang to the Mix series. With a passion for house and techno that dates back over a decade these two have spent the latter half of it inserting themselves into the scene that they were so influenced by. Recently their production efforts have been recognized by House of Hustle where they have a couple of releases and Sweet Heat Records. As it is only their first couple of releases I expect we'll be hearing much more from them in that department in the future. They are also regulars on the club scene in Vegas with several appearances on top lineups supporting some of the biggest names in the business. Another result of their hard work and tonacity is they have found themselves on the EDC lineup 2 years in a row! We will have more from FlashGang later this week, in our featured post on the website (www.losangelesmusicproject.com)along with a full track listing.

This week we are excited to welcome a local Los Angeles talent SiLVA. Born and raised in Southern California surrounded by diverse cultures and musical stylings she has become a voice for the underground dance culture in Los Angeles. In addition to being a excellent DJ she has a deep understanding and knowledge of musical trends which she shares with the world on her radio show Future Factory one of Dash Radio's longest running shows. The LAMP crew had a chance to be on her show last year and we strongly recommend you check it out. In addition she also hosts Dim Mak Studio's on iHeartRadio's Evolution Radio. During her time on the radio she has interviewed many big names in music such as, Claude Von Stroke, DJ Sliink, Born Dirty and Justin Martin are a few. We will have more from Silva later this week with our full feature when I get a chance to interview the interviewer. For now sit back and enjoy the wonderful mix SiLVA has put together for us.

Happy New Year. We are sticking with tradition as we welcome back Sleepy Cat to the podcast. This will be the 4th year in a row we have had Sleepy Cat ring in the new year for us. You can always expect a fun and energetic vibe with Sleepy Cat and he has delivered a great mix for us to celebrate the beginning of 2019. When he is not poking Joshua Tree's in the desert he is constantly tinkering away in his studio developing new projects of his own while selflessly helping others in the community improve their projects with his wizard skills in sound design and engineering. We are stoked to have had him in the LAMP family from pretty much the very beginning and look forward to many more mixes from him.

We have a special gift for you today on this wonderful day of days. Hopefully you are all warm and happy and sharing it with the ones you love. UK native Saytek has been tearing it up on Dancefloors across the land and we are so excited and fortunate this week to have Saytek with us. His tracks have recently been picked up by some of the biggest names on the planet Carl Cox and Steve Lawler, and Darren Emerson on their respective labels recently. It is worth mentioning he has releases on many other respectable labels such as New Violence, Superfreq, and many more. His approach to performing with live instruments has gained him much praise and as a result he sort of skipped the DJing phase of his career. We have a great Q & A to go along with this wonderful session Saytek put together for us. For now sit back and unwrap this two hour live jam session recorded from an undisclosed venue in Berlin. Happy Holidays from LAMP!!

This week's guest is no stranger to the Southern California house and techno scene. Having come together in San Diego this duo hit the scene strong after a debut performance at The Standard back in 2011. From there it has been no looking back as they have made waves across the world and become a premiere name in underground house and techno. Having held residencies in Ibiza and Miami in addition to touring schedules that have taken them from Desert Hearts to Tulum to Switzerland and places in between. In addition to a healthy touring schedule they have a rigorous production ethic that has seen them release with top labels such as Get Physical, Bedrock, Crosstown Rebels and so many more. I feel like we are just scratching the surface of what to expect from these guys and am happy to share this mix with you all this week. Please check back later this week on the website for a full feature interview and more at www.losangelesmusicproject.com Enjoy.

We are very fortunate this week to have the talents of NIcolaas Black joining us. Settle in for an journey that will set your eardrums on a great adventure. Really taking his time to craft this mix, "Colors" (the title he has given this mix) really explores the different bandwidths of house, techno and classical themes, with flawless transitions that easily tell a story worth listening to for an hour and a half. Having several releases under his name and other monikers over the years he is someone who is greatly respected in the Los Angeles underground scene and you can often find him randomly at different festivals, clubs, and late night soires through out Southern California and beyond. Been really looking forward to sharing this week's mix with everyone. Born and raised in Newport Beach the so cal native is going to be one to keep a very close eye on. VNSSA has been on a meteoric rise this year with several releases covering labels such House of Hustle, Sweat It Out, Psycho Disco and several others. Receiving well deserved support from a pretty solid and well respected bunch of producers her versatility and ability combined with an insane work ethic have been paying dividends. I personally was able to catch her opening set at Dirtybird Campout a couple months ago and all skill aside, she has plenty of it, one of the things that stands out the most for me is her selecting skills and she brings it in full force for us this week for LAMP. Your gonna dig this one.

Make sure to check back on our website tomorrow for our full feature with Q & A and the complete tracklist www.losangelesmusicproject.com

His musical tastes are vast and as such we never know what to expect when RBOT drops off a mix, but we know he usually brings the heat. This time around the mix was delivered with a simple two word message: "Great Stuff". Enjoy and we will have a tracklist for you tomorrow over on the website www.losangelesumusicproject.com
