Amateur

I am surprised that this book was rated so highly. The plot and writing were both amateur. I would advise to save your time for a better read!

Debt Collector

Wendy is a 20 year old who has decided to try to make a living as a stripper. Oliver Lothrop catches Wendy's attention when he shows up at the club. When Wendy returns home she is drugged and kidnapped. After coming to, Wendy finds out that no only had her father used her as collateral for a debt Oliver is the collector of said debt. Oliver thinks he has made sure Wendy is safe but danger comes calling. Will he be able to save Wendy in time and can he continue to keep her safe? This was a nice quick read. There were a few editing issues but nothing that really affected the overall reading of the story.

Wendy and Oliver's story!

Wendy is a stripper because she needs the money in order to put herself through school. She is still new at it and not very good.

Oliver is older than Wendy and when he sets eyes on her he starts dreaming of what could be *this is unusual for him). He has to leave on a work related issues in the middle of her private dance for him.

Great!

A quick, steamy read! I really enjoyed the storyline! This book is definitely jam packed with drama and steamy scenes! So much happens in such few pages. let me confused a lot of the time...

The story is intriguing and I found I wanted to like it, but found it hard to keep up as it went back and forth between present & past. I also feel as if it didn't really clear things up. It gives you bits and pieces of their past, but not enough to fill in all the gaps.

It jumps around so much I found my self confused.

Dark Contemporary Romance...

The story is intriguing but I found it hard to keep up as it went back and forth between present & past. Perhaps it would have been easier to follow in a book format versus audiobook.

There are some pretty abusive descriptions. It can be quite disturbing specially because all my favorite dark romances do not have the "hero" continue to sleep around and act abusive towards the "heroine" and other females throughout the book.

The narration was ok. It was more like a reading than heartfelt & emotional. The narrator did not immerse herself in the characters. It sounded a bit monotone to me.

The story had potential but the hopping around made it confusing. I did not understand her relationship with Jake. He seemed important at first but not so much towards the end. He was a peculiar character anyways.

They were part of a cult and were able to scape and find a wealthy lawyer to help them. They pretended to be a family to blend in. Annie and Colin would tell everyone they are brother & sister. The leader of the cult Taylor is pretty sick. There are some unexpected twists towards the end.

The story did not flow as well as I had expected it. And the conclusion did not really leave a happy feeling in the pit of my stomach. It was intended to be a HEA... You will need to read it to understand.

Secrets are always revealed

The life that Colin and Anna lives is in fear of a madman. They are careful of the lies they tell because they are hiding. This story draws you in and spits you out.

Could be amazing

The story goes back and forth so many times , it's a bit hard to keep on track, the story should be read, not listened to. So I'll give it another try.

pretty little things

I was gifted this audio ARC for a honest and unbiased review from the author/narrator.

Teresa Mummert wrote a very confusing book. The story went back in the past then to the present, while doing this it left me confused. I think it somehow wasn't a book for audio. Just saying.

Sarah Puckett narrated this book but I feel that there wasn't enough emotions for the book.

I'm sorry to say this is one book I didn't care for but will try another by author and narrator at another time.

So much Heartache!!!

This book was incredible! I was captivated by this heart-wrenching story from the very beginning. This book was very well written and the performance was outstanding. Title is very appropriate. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and or narrator. I loved this book, yet I cried listening to this book. Don't wear mascara while listening. (This book shifts from past incidents to present and back and forth, so its not a chronological listen)

So much heartache for one person!

I don't know where to begin with my review. From start to finish this book reaches in and grabs your heart and doesn't let go until the very last words. The amount of loss and heartache that Anna goes through almost seems like it would be too much! I have to say that I hope we all have a best friend/sister like Amy who was there for Anna at every turn!

Terri England brought this story to life with her wonderful narration of all the characters in this book. Can't wait to listen to more of her work!

Aptly named, Finding Strength is a story of heartache, loss and moving on. I was immediately drawn in to Anna's very emotional and gut-wrenching story. The narration was beautifully performed and really made the story come alive.

I loved Finding Strength and it shows us just how resilient the human spirit is. I would highly recommend this but make sure that you have plenty of tissues on hand.

One Got SEAL

Luke and Deelie knew each other from high school and were together briefly. Several years later Luke comes home to Strong CA and he saves Deelie from a fire. The fire within him burns for what could have been years ago. Only problem is Deelie does not do long term but Luke will have to prove her wrong.

I have read most of the series and I enjoyed this one as well as the others.

Another great read in this series by Anne Marsh...I love a man in uniform well his is a different uniform now wow.

I enjoyed the story but would have liked for it to continue a bit more. Giving us more details of how the couple moves on from this point. I can't wait for the next installment in this series.

Dylan is a piece of sh!t.

What disappointed you about Bad Boy in a Suit?

Is anyone else pissed off at the fact that every day after Dylan and our heroine met up again, he chose his fiancé over her? That he was emotionally cheating and lying to his fiancé every day that he made his "friendship" with sierra a priority while not in fact making sierra a priority? Anyone else pissed about the fact that he "acted" completely clueless to the fact that she was in love with him and he kept insisting on inserting himself in her life, in spite of the fact that he had chosen to remain with his fiancé!!!! Anyone else pissed at the author that we never actually got a satisfactory answer from the author about why Dylan did in fact stay with his fiancé! The whole he met her in the hospital when he was down and out, is a really insufficient explanation. No mention of love...no mention of a feeling of responsibility, or maybe it was just great sex...also, the limited ability for the reader to see any real sign of affection portrayed towards her.... Dylan is a piece of sh!t, because it seems as though he accepted a marriage proposal from a girl he didn't seem to love, much less care much about and then proceeded to drag both women through months and months and months of stringing both of them along this tortuous road, that neither of them deserved and that he was the prime person to perpetuate it (not to discount sierra's responsibility in all of this).....but Dylan was the prime asshole. Why did no one ever just come out and ask the guy why the hell he was with her and what the hell he was thinking hurting sierra!!! Not Dylan's family, not sierra's friends, not the fiancé, not sierra herself....and certainly Dylan never so much as volunteered the information, much less apologize to sierra for putting everyone through a completely unnecessary hell. He selfishly turned her into the side piece and figured what....that she'd happily stand by while he went home to the arms of another woman each night? Also, he sure as hell should have gottten a better taste of his own medicine than that one initial scene with Vaughn. I am super super pissed at Dylan, the author and even just the freakin title....does anyone ever recall Dylan ever being in a suit? I pretty much just recall him in construction gear, motorcycle gear or thanksgiving casual wear. Whatever.... sigh....

Fulfilling dreams..

I liked the novel for its simplicity of language. It narrates well and keeps u engrossed but i feel extra marital affair is exaggerated.. but in the end happy ending and a female protagonist with complicated life, able to solve her life and free herself from stifling marriage.. keeps u engaged !!

She is understands human emotions very well. Some where all of us try to associate with her characters in all her books. I have read other books of Preeti Shenoy , the way she portrays her characters is beautiful.

The End?

I was so looking forward to this book, but it was a disappointment. I feel like the author wrote it as a way to drag out the story and get greedy. Sadly this series ending was so bad that it wrecked not just this series but I will never read anything else from this author. If the author wanted to continue the series she should have just done it not with the method she took.

I love this series. It is nice to read about young people with goals . The characters are not perfect but relatable. Their situations are very life like. Lexy definitely needs to write a full conclusion to Tyler's story.

Loved this concluding story

Having read the other books in this series I knew who the main characters where and what they had been through. It was amazing to see how much they have grown together and the trials they faced being separated by miles.

I loved this book.

Aileen's and Tyler's wedding please. And Alex and Jani together. I want to know how Tyler does in the NFL and Aileen at the Olympics.
