Have you ever heard someone say that they’ve never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch? It’s a funny thing to hear, but it’s true! None of the things of this world will be able to go with us after we die, EXCEPT one thing - JESUS! In today’s message, Pastor Ron is going to be sharing with us about the tenth commandment in the Bible that talks about covetousness. While there is nothing wrong with owning fun toys or gadgets, God tells us that we must set our eyes solely on Him!

Do you know someone who seems to have everything they could ever dream of? I know I do, and if I’m being honest, sometimes it’s hard to see their things and not wish that I had them as well. In today’s message, Pastor Ron is going to be addressing the tenth and final commandment given to us by Jesus in the Bible. This commandment has to do with coveting. You see, nowhere does it say that owning particular items is a sin, but we have to ask ourselves about our contentment with our things. 

Have you ever lied? Of course, you have - we all have! Truth be told lying is a sin, and though we are completely forgiven of all of our sins, it’s displeasing to our Father in Heaven. In today’s message, Pastor Ron will be covering the ninth commandment. Although we have been lying since we were able to speak, this message is still so prevalent even today in our older ages. Whether it be a small lie or a big one, all are seen equally in the eyes of God, and as Christians, we are called to be full of truth. 

Have you ever met someone who’s constantly talking badly about someone else or who’s always saying things that are just not nice? I know I have, and those people are no fun to be around! In today’s message, Pastor Ron will be reviewing number nine of the Ten Commandments. In this, he helps us to understand that if we’re someone who continually speaks life into people, we will bear life-giving fruit, but if we are someone who continually gossips, then we will find destruction. 

Don’t steal from God! When we typically think about stealing, we think about taking money from a store, hijacking a car, or breaking into someone’s house. Those are obvious acts of stealing, but what about when you are watching TV before you’ve read your bible? When you actively choose to use your gifts, talents, and time to glorify something other than God, you are robbing God of the work He has put into you. Today, Pastor Ron is going to remind you that stealing goes far beyond what you think. 

The Bible tells us to trust that God will take care of our every need, so why should I even go to work? If God is really going to take care of me, He will just make the money appear in my bank account right? Sadly that’s not how it works. It still takes a job in order to make money. The blessing that God gives us is labor! If you have a job, be grateful that God has gifted you the ability to earn money and make a living. Today, Pastor Ron is going to encourage you to be thankful for what God has given you. 

Being married is so much more than meets the eye. If you look at a happy married couple, there was a time when they weren’t so happy. Every marriage goes through hard times, hard conversations, and hard decisions. If you are married, it’s your job to be the best version of yourself for your spouse. If you aren’t married, become the person that you would want to marry. In today’s message, Pastor Ron will speak on the dangerous sin of adultery. He will encourage you to flee from sexual sin before it’s too late. 

Is it really worth the risk? Next time you feel tempted, really ask yourself that question. Sinning doesn’t only affect you. It affects your friends, your family, and your spouse, and ultimately it hurts the heart of God. Today, Pastor Ron is going to remind you that Satan presents sin as an exciting and fun risk. He will even make you think that you can get away with it, but you can’t. Nothing is hidden from God, and sin will always lead to consequences. Save yourself the trouble, and think twice before you make a sinful choice. 

The dangers of anger and gossip often lead to poor decisions and actions that we might regret. In today’s teaching, Pastor Ron will unpack the heart behind “murder,” and how we as Christ followers can be different in the way that we live our lives. Naturally, there are things that the world engages in that we as believers should not. Refusing to participate in demeaning conversations can protect our hearts from evil. Do you need to establish some more firm boundaries in your communications today?
