I read this one twice - as with all her books, one tends go back and read it again.

Never A Dull Moment

The story keeps your interest and presents interesting characters to keep you wondering what will take place next. You can easily get caught up with the dilemma of the main characters with hopes they will understand each others point of view. The book is an easy read and adds suspense to keep you wanting to continue reading!

Wild Star

Catharine Coulter's book Wild Star was a different twist on romance. It's a real life twist on what can really happen over family deceit and incest.

Series is good and very enjoyable

The characters are wonderful. Would recommend this series to anyone liking historical novels with a hint "off color". This is my second reading.

You like sports and romance?

I really enjoyed this story. I liked the characters, liked the plot, and I liked the setting. I like reading romances with sports. And this author actually bothered to describe the sport. You know what I didn't like? It's the 3rd in a series, but the first 2 weren't available!

Falling in love or lust?

The cover convinced me to get this book, yep, watching that HOT male body while listening to a contemporary romance story was exactly what I wanted. And although the story was ok I did not love it. The heroine was annoying and her constant whining got to me. The overall plot of this story was underwhelming and I did not believe the romance. The couple had lots of hot sex but I did not see the love developing... The narrator was ok too. Did not add much emotion to the story, but then again, it was not that emotional anyway... I guess I was expecting a hot sports and romance story like the one from Rachel Gibson but this one was all about sex...

GREAT

I wasn't sure i was going to like this book but as it got into it. I couldn't stop listening to it. It was great. The only thing that I don't like is that this was BOOK 3 of the series and the other 2 are not in audible format. That's a real bummer.

ENJOYABLE YES BUT SOOOO FRUSTRATING TOO

I've listened out of order but I really don't think it matters much but I just couldn't resist the cover (how sad am I?) alright I liked the sound of the story too.

This is one of those books that I enjoyed yes - but didn't love - due entirely to the female character's personality - "I don't, I won't, I'm not going to, I want more, I'm not looking, I'll choose it myself etc etc etc" you get the picture. IF she had been blessed with a more pleasant character then I could have thoroughly shared in the romance and passion not just the very hot, explicit love scenes. There was a tender romantic love scene at the end but it was a little too late for redemption.

Worth a credit? Yes, if you can see past her PMS attitude and I will download another as I am enjoying the whole ice hockey scene, which is a brand new theme for me.

Well I got the first 2, so

I really enjoyed the first two books but this one is just ok for me. I enjoy a story with more drama involved. The sexual content is good but it just lacked the other things I like thrown in. I want angst, suspense, danger..... you get the idea. This is just so mediocre.

An unbelievable amount of doubts

The family is a solid mix of characters but the woman from Ireland described as headstrong and moody is a mess. Over half the book is about her insecurity between 'he loves her, he loves her not'. No matter how logical or earnest Luke is, Moira sees the opposite. It goes on so long it's boring, repetitive and annoying. Should have been a strong woman, or at least a rational one, rather than the indecisive girl looking for the perfectly romantic conclusion only found in fairy tales and fictitious teen romance novels. 2 1/2 stars

Good love story

I enjoyed this book as I have the others in the series. It's fun catching up on characters from previous books. There's plenty of good advice regarding life but not in a preachy way. One important thing you can take from this story is you shouldn't decide what someone else means, don't be afraid to ask what they mean. Of course the story would have been much shorter and not nearly as much fun!

Much transpires in the garden

Ms. Woods has certainly researched the "Irish", attitudes, customs and even the dialog. I could hear the lilt even though they were Americans speaking. Characters were well defined and the plot was somewhat predicable, but it was an altogether light, fun read.

The summer garden

This book has an easy to follow plot and interesting characters. I recommend this book to all lovers of romance novels.

The Summer Garden is truly a beautiful story about life,love, and family. I love the family and all the twist and turns finding love and happiness spanning two generations.

Yes because the audio version vocalizes the emotions and attitudes of the characters. It also paints a clear picture of the environment surrounding events within the story.

I would compare this book to the book titled: Secrets Never Told- which is also written by Rochele Alers.

My favorite character in. This book is the adopted son. Even though he was raised in the world of high society, he did not allow his intelligence and moral character to be tainted or deminished.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

While visiting his parent's home Jordons ishowed Aziza where she could go to rest privately and not sleep with him. I thought that action spoke volumes about his character

This book is a must read, And since it is part of a new series, I'm looking forward to the next book. This author is a great writer.

Awesomeness

Great Story

Great Read. I enjoyed reading this very much, can't wait for the next one.

Meh.... Predictable

Let me first start off by saying the narrorator did a fantastic job!! She really put on a performance. The storyline was really blah.. It just didn't move me one way or the other. I found myself skipping through parts just to get it over with. Luckily it was included in the Romance package. Glad I didn't waste a credit on it. I generally love Brenda's books however, this one had no action, no real drama, or anything spectacular. We didn't even get to find out what happened to the people suing the hospital.

2 In the Doctor's Bed Stars

2 Stars doesnt mean I didnt like it, just means I didnt love it.

The characters were great together; I liked the chemistry they had. I just kind of felt like the plot line was a little dull.

I liked that they couldnt stay away from each other and their attraction couldnt be denied. But, the secret love is just so overdone. Granted this didnt end in a fiery crash thank goodness or I am afraid I wouldnt have even bothered to review it.

Its a sweet romance with not a lot of heat or plot. But if that is what you like then this would be the book for you, I just needed something more.

The narration was really good; I liked her voice and tone.

Definitely Worth a Listen

I would have happily given this 5-angsty stars if the 'bombshell' had been dropped a bit sooner. Although I believe the H truly wanted to be with the h, I'd have liked to have seen more of the part where he's in the doghouse for omitting certain info, while still being ruthlessly HP-tycoonish about forcing the h to marry him and have lots of reluctant orgasms. Still it was a good one and definitely worth the read.

Not my Taste

This was an indicator that I should always listen to a sample before buying a book. I found the reading very sweet - what my son once called 'talking in pink'.

Worse - the story was weak and the writing overblown - the hero's eyes were 'faceted gold' - and I kept having images of insect eyes.

I LIKE an occasional bodice ripper - but this was one I could not even force myself to listen to for more than half the book. I have read books by Sandra Brown before and had not had the same level of irritation with them. I think it was the combination of writing and reading that was so unfortunate.

It was a valuable but expensive lesson.

Huge Disappointment

If this was my first Sandra Brown book I ever read, it would have been my last Sandra Brown book I ever read. Have read many and enjoyed them. This one was 100% boring. No plot.

This book has a tissue thin plot line. The main female character has all the emotional range of a three year old. If your idea of romance is shallow manipularive behaviour, this is the book for you. Don't waste your time and money.

Narration is painful

This story could have been a decent listen, nothing to be on the edge of your seat for, but an ok story. However....the narration was horrific. She was so monotone, no emotion, no voice variation between characters - even male parts. It was like she was just reading off the page, and frankly it was painful to get through because of it.

Sweet addition.

Another good addition to the Tall, Dark and Dangerous series. It does get better with each book. A sweet romance, very little mystery. Defiantly read the series in order due to the fact the characters intertwine in the books. Read Troubleshooters series, they will suck you in and you will become obsessed with finishing them.

Fight between Mitch and Parker

I did not like the story line where becca put herself between Parker and Mitch,unbelievable.

I enjoy All Suzanne Brockmann's Books

I enjoy all of Suzanne Brockmann's books but what confused me on this one was the lead in announcer saying this book was read by Gabra Zackman, so I was all geared for her and on come Maia Guest. My hope is that by writing this review Maia Guest will get the credit she deserves.

I really appreciate how Suzanne spends the time developing her characters and integrates them into other stories. It makes you feel more close and involved in the story. She is never afraid to write about a political, emotional or social subject. She also doesn't present the subject in a way that turns the reader off. I really enjoy her writing.

Light & Fluffy

Enjoyed the light, fluffy and predictable love story. Nice installment for the Navy Seals installment.

the story was GOOD and I wished I had read the book because I couldn't hear the difference between the men and women. Maia Guest has a nice voice but all female. These tough navy seals sounded like they were taking mega doses of estergen!!!

Harvard's PHD on a woman

This novel is a thesis on equality of races and the sexes. It's also filled with suspense, danger and courage.

Education Is in the Eye of the Educated

Yes, this is a romance, but the action involved adds interest to the usual story line. If you're a fan of adventure novels with some romance, this is a good book for you. Ms. Brockmann is very adept at creating unforgettable characters with strong, memorable traits.

Its about day to day country life, but also insightful and deals with social issues of its day. Miss Read is a bit like Jane Austin in her observations! A real treat.
