When you describe a standup comedian, you typically don’t use words like “easygoing” and “laid-back,” however, that’s exactly what I’d say about Larry the Cable Guy. Larry joins me to talk about his hilarious new comedy special, “It’s a Gift” (available on Prime Video September 12) and his long career. He tells me how his own life is his greatest source of material; about going on stage in his early days as Dan Whitney (his real name), and how the character of Larry the Cable Guy came to be.
