Slugs never sleep! It’s been a dry summer, so slug pressure has generally been low this autumn. However, FAR’s Abie Horrocks says keep monitoring, because any slugs that are around, will still be active, and it doesn’t take much rain to increase their numbers to damaging levels. Abie also outlines some integrated pest management (IPM) approaches to dealing with these slimy pests.
