What's up Internet? Happy Decision Day 2021! On this episode of Last Word SC Radio, Dan gets together with Harvey and Rachael to discuss the final match day of the MLS regular season.
The trio do a round table on recent MLS news including the newest Chicago Fire mess, Tab Ramos getting sacked by Houston, and the USMNT roster dropping.
Then they discuss Decision Day. Three playoff spots in each conference have yet to be claimed. Only New England has secured home field advantage in the East while three teams are still competing for the top seed in the West. We go through how we think things will end up.
Buckle up people. Decision Day is going to be a wild one.
Alex is back after a busy week for the Ottawa Senators. Today, he is trying something new. To start, he goes solo which is something he doesn't usually do. Alex breaks down the last four games from the Senators and trends he saw plus what he did and didn't like. Going game-by-game and recapping plus analyzing it. After 30 minutes of that, he then switches to preview mode. He first discusses the Chicago Blackhawks game. For his thoughts on the off-ice issues, you can listen to them on the MnM Hockey Podcast.
Finally, to wrap up the podcast he has Thomas Williams on for an Ottawa Senators vs Minnesota Wild preview. He and Thomas look through this very new Wild team and what to expect from them. Players to keep an eye on that aren't as known as well as the big names such as Kirill Kaprizov. They break down every aspect of the two teams heading into Tuesday's matchup.
In this episode of the Necessary Roughness Podcast, host Nikolas Donadic dives into the NFL regular season’s Week 8 matchups. He also wonders why everyone else was so high on the 49ers to start the season, dives into the QB conundrums in Carolina and Miami, and has a split opinion on Mark Davis’ stance on the NFL’s WFT investigation. Enjoy the show and join us next Friday for the following episode!
Alex and Chace are back for another episode. This week, they have a very serious topic to discuss. Kyle Beach and the Chicago Blackhawks Investigation following sexual assault allegations. Alex and Chace discuss the impact this has on the league and why it is so important that it is talked about. A very delicate situation, the important thing to remember is that because of the lack of an action at the time, more victims were created.
After this heavy topic, the guys switch their focus to some news on the ice. First, they look at the Zach Whitecloud signing. Alex likes the process and Chace can agree with that. However, Chace is nowhere near as sold on the contract itself or the player that got it. Next, they look at some hot and cold starts to the season. This includes Alex Ovechkin who is casually a favourite for the Rocket Richard once again despite injury questions heading into the year. The guys discuss how you can't even call it a resurgence because he never really left.
Just wanted to note that this show was recorded on Tuesday Morning 10/26/21.
What's up Internet? This week on Last Word SC Radio, the trio of Matt, Dan, and Harvey get together to talk about the MLS penultimate week of the 2021 regular season.

Then we get into MLS DEFCON Levels for all of the bubble teams in both conferences. The boys end the show with some Weekend Pick 'Ems.
In this episode of the Necessary Roughness Podcast, host Nikolas Donadic dives into the NFL regular season’s Week 7 matchups. He also breaks down some questionable late-game coaching decisions from last week, wonders why the Deshaun Watson trade market heated up (only to promptly cool down) in the span of a week, and debates if the interception is actually a good stat for evaluating a defensive player’s performance. Enjoy the show and join us next Saturday for the following episode!
Alex and Chace are back with regular-season hockey to discuss! However, there were also a handful of signings to take a look at as the season gets going. Namely, the Brady Tkachuk deal with the Ottawa Senators. Alex gives his thoughts and why the high AAV is nothing to worry about for Sens fans. From there, they look at the Ryan Pulock and Charlie McAvoy deals. Both signings the guys feel are really easy to analyze and that's because they are slam dunk wins.
After, they briefly discuss Evander Kane and his suspension. Discussing whether or not he plays again, and if it is for the San Jose Sharks or not. Finally, they look at some on-ice discussion! Teams that have been hot out of the gate and a few teams that have really started to struggle. As well as a discussion about whether or not the two teams people considered juggernauts should be worried about their depth scoring?
Alex is back as the season gets underway and this week, he has a ton to talk about! To help discuss all these items, making his return to the podcast is Brandon Plant from SENS TALK. Together, the two start with taking a look at the Brady Tkachuk contract and what it means for the team, fans, and organization as a whole. They discuss why it is a fair deal despite the lack of production on the score sheet. As well as how they see Tkachuk growing as a player.
From there, they switch to look at storylines from the first three games of the season. Including their two games against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Breaking down what they liked and didn't like coming out of each game. Some key takeaways to start the year were the depth and the goaltending. Finally, they discuss the goaltending situation and what Matt Murray may bring on his return to the team.
Metroid Dread, Tales of Arise, Echo Generation, Alan Wake Remastered are the major games discussed by Sean Garmer and Marc Morrison on this one.
